Most profiles on Sithmini are created by a parent or close relative. That is welcome, with a few responsibilities.
- The person must be 18 or older and must know about and agree to the profile
- Choose the correct 'posted by' option so other families know who they are speaking with
- Keep them informed of interests, messages and proposals received
- Do not accept an interest or arrange a meeting against their wishes
- Remove the profile promptly if they ask you to
The person described in a profile can contact us directly at any time to update, pause or remove it, even if they did not create the account.
Marriage agencies
Registered marriage agencies can manage profiles for their clients through an agency account with staff roles. Agencies are responsible for obtaining each client's consent and for the accuracy of every profile they publish.
